Always learning, and trying to make myself a better lifter. A wise man once told me,
“Think of fitness as skill development.”
I’m not the best, I’ll probably never be the best. But I’m going to be the best ME there is. Everyday I work on something I strive to be better at it, be it a coach, a father, a husband, a brother, an employee. Excellence isn’t achieved by simply going through the motions. It’s about looking at yourself and being honest enough to admit your flaws then work on them.
I had no idea the bar path on my squat shifted slightly forward. But now I do, and I’m not afraid to share my flaws, because well, we all have shit to work on.
That’s the best part about Fitness, finding something to to fix, and when that’s fixed, you’re going to find another thing. As we grow, our body is always changing. That’s the beauty of it all.
