It is a common misconception that women shouldn’t train chest as it would allow them to look too bulky... when in reality it just makes the area much more perky and extra amazing!
1️⃣ Bench press 5 by
8 at 40kg

Push-ups are still very under rated in the fitness industry. Although the motion only occurs at the wrist, elbow and shoulder joint - it targets almost every muscle in the whole body. Your entire core (LPHC), chest, shoulders, back, traps, biceps, triceps, gluteus and quads. If you can’t do a full push-up, start with knees down, or even place your hands on a higher surface such a bench, counter or wall. Then progress to where you can incorporate unstable surface into the move by using a stability ball, med ball, BOSU or a Core-Tex.

These two upper body push exercises are a must in every training program at some capacity throughout your training transformation!🔥💪🏼

Push ups- are great to develop the chest, shoulders, and triceps. Really great for hypertrophy gains, and muscle endurance. Keeping the core tight with constant tension allows this calisthenic movement to apply very well to other push movements like the bench press, and overhead press!💪🏼Push ups can be done everyday, there is less recovery needed from bodyweight movements than there is from weight lifting. Slowly progress every day trying to add 1 rep to your sets after two weeks of reaching your goal rep!💪🏼

Bench Press- really great for strength development, and putting on serious mass of upper body muscle over the years!👏🏻😲 It is slightly easier to progress in load, but it is crucial that our form is mastered and our muscles are working and not our joints. Work in the incline bench for upper chest development for two three months and make your flat bench primary the next 2-3 months afterwards!👌🏼Dumbbell presses are wonderful to assist in lagging muscles and develop a weaker side of the body.

You can add both of these upper body exercises in your Push day for the week. Bench press at least twice a week, and add your push ups 5-7 times a week. Focus on higher rep push ups to begin, and work on a 6-8 rep range for the bench.
