I did NOT feel like running today. I didn’t sleep well last night, I had to travel after class was done, go into work to do paperwork, and it was cold and windy.
I was tired and making up every excuse in the book.
Before I could sit down and waste time when I walked in the door, I changed, put on my shoes, and put my headphones in. I planned to do a slow 2 miles just to feel good about doing something... I ended up feeling great and crushed my run 🏃🏼♀️💪🏼
I ran 3.67 at 9 min pace. This may not seem very fast to everyone, but it’s the fastest pace I’ve been able to hold for a while. I have good weeks and bad weeks with school. School makes it really hard to train sometimes. Today I rocked it, and tomorrow I might not be as fast, but at least I know I CAN do it and I WILL do it again.
P.S. celebrating that my doctor told me I’m down 5 pounds in the last 3 months. Hip hip hooray for healthy weight loss! .
