We’ve put together a superbly delicious chocolate drink to enjoy warm or cold, and put other immune-boosting ingredients in to keep the cacao company. Did you know dates, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cayenne pepper, almonds and coconut milk all support your immune system’s awesome work?
So, then. How about a double-chocolate smoothie, lightly spiced? • 3 Tbsp o’natural Cacao Super Smoothie • 1 frozen banana • 2 Tbsp cacao nibs • 4 dates • 1 tsp cinnamon • ¼ tsp ginger powder • ¼ tsp nutmeg, freshly grated if you can • A pinch of cayenne pepper • 2 cups almond/ coconut milk
Blend until smooth. If you’d like it warm, heat it gently on the stove just until it’s the perfect drinking temperature for you. Remember, too hot and you may compromise those beautiful vitamins and minerals!
