Here it is❤️ All of the books I’ve read this year and 2 more to go on my list. One from a reader’s recommendation and one from @lifeslibrarybookclub 📚 If I could describe my reading choices for 2018 in 2 words it would be “literary ecstasy” because I seriously got out of my comfort zone this year, holy shit. What an experience. I usually stick with a different psychological thriller every other week but I decided to change things up a bit. From Hemingway, Woolf, Keats, Eliot, to Greek mythology and origins, dark academia, feminism, traditional mystery, political pieces, theory and criticism essays, sixteenth century Henry Howard and Sir Thomas More, poetry of Mark Strand, to Plato and Aristotle, Dante and Dostoevsky, I’ve been around the block...this has been the best year of reading I’ve ever had. Sure, I didn’t make my reading goal this year of 75 books (yikes what a stretch) but if I didn’t take the time to enjoy what I was reading just to make numbers, then what is the point of reading at all?
