Shubho saptomi!! #loomday7
Durga puja is pure nostalgia. Anything and everything has its own memory. From saptami mostly in all Bengali families lunch and dinner is not cooked .. why? Because as I had earlier mentioned in my post that it's all about parar pujo (area's puja) all eat lunch together and have BHOG (khichdi) and dinner is in stalls that have - EVERYTHING from devil ( egg chop) , mughlai paratha, paturi, biryani, Puri kosha mangsho, Malai curry, fish/chicken mutton cutlet to sweets , ice cream, juices and pan. There are shopping stalls too.
Yesterday while visiting a pandal saw a dance drama and saw a group dance in another pandal, that brings back memories that are precious. Dance drama with songs and then group dance was being performed by kids every year and the fun part is the practice sessions. From a month before we used to start practicing and then final sessions and then D-Day ❤️ . Miss many during this festival .
As each day passes the heart start sinking thinking it will end soon , but till it's there still and happiness is everywhere ❤️ Saptamis navaratri color is red and fortunately was wearing a red saree today. This one is a kanchi cotton 1000 boota saree with aanapakshi motif on it. This one is for @blessed_vintage_soul
