Senior forward Molly Sharpe (@mollysharpe_) has picked up another big award and has been voted into the Academic All South Region First Team.
Sharpe was named the Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Year. She led the league in assists with 13 and tied for first with six game-winners. She also had 14 goals on the season, and matched Grimshaw with a goal or assist in 14 straight games. The pair were the first teammates to top double figures in both goals and assists since Emelie Karlsson (21 G, 14 A) and Pam McDonald (11 G, 11 A) in 2002. She has a 3.78 GPA in exercise science.
Molly is an inspiration to our players and we are proud to have her as part of the #SRUSAFamily. She shows that if you work hard in the classroom and on the field, anything is possible.
Well done Molly from all at SRUSA!! ⚽️🇺🇸📚 https://gobarrybucs.com/news/2018/11/12/womens-soccer-puts-four-on-academic-all-south-region-team.aspx
