They did it!! No, no, no—they CRUSHED it! These badass, gritty women ran 200 miles in just over 22 hours from Mt. Hood to the Oregon Coast. I’m so gosh darn proud of them and their 2nd place Open Women’s division (and 22nd overall) finish in the most competitive overnight relay around. Thank you thank you, Jean and Amy, for stepping up to co-captain when life threw me a dooooooozie. I hope each and everyone of these @grrlsgonerunning are living that finish line life full of beers, beach, and, most importantly, REAL BEDS! I love you all to pieces, including fellow CNW sister, Ashley, with the photobomb.🤣💖 .
Ashley and Team JOHA ran toe-to-toe with the #GRRLS squad throughout the entire race. Many of the women on both teams are friends outside of this event. This is something I just love about the women’s competitive running community—the unity irrespective of team affiliation.🥰 ☝🏼Cycling, please take note.
