OIL BOIL TIME
What is it?
Its that time of year when my bin of empty bottles is FULL and I am out of upcycled ones to reuse. .
👃 my home smells amazing as the oily soup simmers on my stove softening labels for peeling. This aroma is not only divine but it's going to work to clean my air from bacteria and pathogens, thus supportng our family's immune systems. Beats those candles filled with harmful fragrance, paraffin, benzene and toluene. 🌍 I am helping the planet by recycling my bottles, cleaning them up, and reusing them in economical ways. It also saves me from needing to order bottles, which comes with a whole other savings from the packing and shipping. No need to pay for things twice. Did you see how full that bin is? Yeah. Thats a whole lotta of savings. 🧴 there are bottles GALORE to whip up into bottles of carrier oil, rollers for easy rolling application, and gifting happy "I'm thinking of you and I care" gifts. 💆♀️ this pot is the perfect facial steam bath. Add a towel over the head, and breathe in deep and long breaths. Not only does the aroma (all that peppermint!) open up the sinuses and airway, the scent hits the limbic system in my brain that stores emotions and memories. Let me tell you, after the effects of the full moon and the crappy past few weeks, I need to release some anger, purify my thoughts and welcome in joy and peace & calming. 🧮 inventory, yes I like nerdy data. This allows me to see first hand the accumulation of what the last year has meant. How many bottles I've used, the oils that I use the most frequently, and ones that may have fallen off my radar. 💦 the boiled water makes for great diffuser water. Just save, store in bottle(s) and add to diffuser with additional oils. The blend is always unique and I love the idea of reusing water with a purpose. .
