I want a bigger/toned chest?
Yeah a lot of people want this, but when you speak to a lot of people they especially guys train their chest once a week. They go heavy for that day throwing in all kinds of chest exercises with no structure, then are sore for a week until the next chest session.
I always tell people train your chest at least twice a week. But have a structure to each session. What I mean is don’t throw bench, flyers. Cables, incline press , decline press, push ups , offset push ups, diamond push ups, unilateral raises , paused reps, forced reps the list goes on and some people throw a load of these into one chest day although in fairness no ones told them not to.
Split it up and concentrate on the contraction of the muscle rather than just stacking to say you bench 200kg drop the weight and do controlled movement no jerking, and get that mind muscle connection and your chest will see development but only if you expose it more into your routine.
