Happy Turkey Day! Just ran my first ever trail 10K with my friend @cheriesmith2064 (its was much more dangerous and hilly than we anticipated ) .
——— I kept thinking of how amazing it is that this huge group of people, mostly made up of strangers, got to hold each other accountable today. Each of us could have ran a trail at another park, skipped out on the entry fee, and avoided the crowd. But I truly believe that there’s something powerful in the desire to commit and to being held accountable to that commitment. .
Commitment to your fitness goals, your financial goals, your meal plan, your family/friends, your mentor, your boss ... and allllll the magic that can happen when that commitment is matched with accountability*. .
So today I’m starting my day off with gratitude and thanks for my #hustleandheart family for holding each other accountable to the goals we set for ourselves (OURSELVES, no one else!!) and for believing in the bigness/power of our group.
