I've been trying to do things with a little more meaning recently so I started listening to podcasts from @benbergeron at work instead of the usual music. Recently listened to one about grit. About being able to accept a failure you may have just had and take a moment and dig deep to hit it again just as hard. To work hard at something and keep challenging yourself without giving up. Was a great lesson this week that made me take time in the gym this morning testing my 1RM push press - I failed my first attempt at 145#, took a moment, walked back up to the bar and made magic happen. It was a hard rep I had to fight for, but I did it. Accept your failures, take a moment, hit harder.

MG2 and what I have learned so far... When I’m not working, I don’t have to combine meals so I need to eat as soon as I wake up. I’m so used to sit and relax with a few cups of coffee before having breakfast, it’s messing up my meal times and I’m ending up having to have larger meals later on in the day. Sooooo woke up this morning and immediately had breakfast. @fitnesskitchenmallorca’s granola with berries and Greek yogurt, a small banana, half a cup of freshly pressed orange juice and my morning coffee. That gives me enough time to have another meal before working out this afternoon. Geeeez that wasn’t so difficult?
