Soooo here we are at the end of My first cut! I knew this would work , i put a lot of effort in following the templates and ended up on FL2 with only 3 cheat meals in almost 3 months. I prd lifts, got my first kipping ttb , hspu with no ab mat and strict pull ups. I feel strong and yet so light when i train now . I am in love with this RP life! Second pic from 2012 to remind myself how far i have come ! #Repost : Today was purely about dedication to being the best version of me and had ZERO to do with motivation. I reminded myself that not only was I lucky enough to be able to workout but that you only regret the workouts you don't do.
Front squat 205 x 2, pretty sure that was my 1rm. It felt SO much slower than it looks. Jerk from behind neck at 165 (95%). This might be the first time I've felt like I did a respectable jerk, too bad I can't always jerk from behind the neck. I'm currently training jerks from behind the neck until I get the funky uneven drive from the front rack fixed.

F2/day11/meal1: today i decided to experiment with upping my carbs because ive been so low energy and brain fogged. I think by saturday ill know if this works better for me. Still using f2 as a guide but wiggling a bit to customize for my body. Greek yogurt blended with vanilla and almond extracts, lemon zest and stevia. I need to work on dropping much quicker with my snatch, but I'm so excited and proud of how far I've come with it. I remember how frustrating it was not to hit 100, no matter how hard I tried I kept falling. Tonight we did 5 sets of 3 starting at 75% of our 1RM - I ended at 100 pounds on my last set. I'd also like to appreciate my quad poking out a smidge. So many gains. .

f2/day10/meal1 : i was going for volume here because i woke up soo hangry. I also cheated my fats by using a whole egg blended with 2 eggwhites for this huge omelette but it’s worth it and it will come out of my pre-bed fats. The egg/eggwhite omelette has a wee bit of onion, red pepper, spinach, herbs and .5 oz turkey, jalapeño. The side dish is sautéed pea sprouts and 1/2 dave’s killer bread with pb powder. Including the veggies, This is 23 g protein, 6g fat, 11g carbs and really so filling. A technique adjustment helped tremendously in my quest for reps in the pullup. My leg positioning was throwing off my stability and momentum so simply locking my legs and bracing my core allowed me to crank out 4 reps...with a final kick off course. Also, I'm cross-eyed. Am I always like that? 😋😂 also, also... in work clothes... took a quick desk break!

#Repost #mondaymotivation this year, I’ve set several #goals one of these goals is #stricteverything and another important one is to change my #lifestyle with #rp chasing these goals has helped me to grow some #wings. I am so happy to see this 16 week #transformation
I don’t know much, but I do have some advice.
1. There is no easy way. The time consuming, learning, and evolving is the right way. Don’t do the crash diet that you cannot handle. Do the lifestyle change, one meal at a time. Soon you will notice that it’s easy to live #healthy
2. If your working on your #gymnastics skills, don’t rush. #strict it up. It’s the best thing for your #strength and it’s the #safe way. I went an entire year and a half of only kipping at my first #crossfit gym and essentially I lost so much time of strength that I could of had.
3. Busy parents, busy people: you got this. You can make time for it. You just have to really want it and set your #why make a list of your top goals and set a time to reflect on them weekly.
4. I keep seeing posts about never looking back, but I think we should look back to see how far we’ve come. I went through hell for several years and every time I look back I smile, knowing that I am #strong because of it and would of never found #crossfit which essentially saved my life.

5. If people don’t believe in you, oh well! Believe in yourself. I have crazy goals and a few have told me that I can’t do them. Well, they aren’t me and they don’t know my #motivation and #drive

6. If you need help, reach out to others that may be able to give you advice and walk you through the beginning steps.

A day early for #transformationtuesday but I’m ending my 2nd cut with @rpstrength today and it feels good! Really proud of the little bit of definition I’m starting to see in my quads and, of course, #backgainz. .
Honestly though, I struggle a lot with cuts. This one was tough. But the perspective of slow progress over time and learning what balance and a sustainable approach to healthy eating looks like is what I appreciate most about RP. I don’t know if I’ll ever be the person who is able to say that 3 months of saying no to eating out with friends is easy, but after a year with RP, I have a completely different view on nutrition. It’s a good feeling.

Conquering pullups is one of my top athletic accomplishments 😁😂😎. A single here, but can consistently do a few sets of 2. Would love to do 10 in a row so still lots of work to do. My athletic background (and gender) afforded me very little upper body strength so I've had to put a lot of work in! Plus I have very long arms compared to the rest of my body putting me at a slight mechanical disadvantage. Nothing a little training can't fix! Shoulda been a nordie, kayaker, or swimmer 😋 What are you built for? You can still do anything you put your mind to, just have to have an appropriate plan to achieve your goals!

I didnt realize I got so comfortable in my .... "My job keeps me fit mentality." Ot does not at all. Since hurting my shoulder, i decoded to make a positive change and get as healthy as I can while waiting out this healing process.

Week 6️⃣ Progress Pic
Today is day 40 out of 84, so I’m almost half way of my @rpstrength cut. Sooo happy with the result of combination of CrossFit training 3 times a week and eating the right food at the right time. 🤗 started at 60,2 kg, this morning woke up with 56,7 kg.
My workout performances have never been as good. I PRed some of my lifts and gymnastics movements. 💪🏻
I’m 15 months postpartum and I feel great and strong. 🌻

I must say I never had a problem with my weight. Never been too skinny or overweighted. My goal is not weightloss. I’m doing this cut to know my body better, to see what it is capable of, to become more disciplined, a better person, athlete, coach and a good role model for my daughter. ☀️

So aside from photography, I’m really into fitness and health. I got really involved with my overall health, eating clean, and most importantly building strength and really pushing my body and mind to do things I’ve never done back in 2017. I’ve been meat-free since 2014, and would go to the gym religiously - sometimes twice a day. Some days I would feel good, some days I would feel off but my goal is to feel good all the time not just sometimes. I knew where I wanted to be physically and strength wise, but I lacked consistency and discipline when it came to food. HELLOOO EMOTIONAL EATERS. But this past June I knew I really needed to buckle down and focus on what I was and WASNT putting into my body. I buckled down and tracked all my macros, ate 2-3 cups of veggies with every meal and read the nutrition labels on literally everything. I never realized how much I was over eating until I got back to NY from being away for a month and weighed in at 160. I was almost 170 when I went down to Florida late May. Point is DIET is everything. I can’t stress enough that what you put in your body literally surfaces - on your skin, your mental, everything. Anyway, preaching aside, it takes consistency and discipline and putting yourself first. I haven’t felt this strong, this good and this confident in pretty long. It’s a small difference but definitely so much progress so far and so much more to be made. Summer bod is here to stay OKURRRRRRR.
