What a great feeling. Today was the first "SOS" ("Something of Substance") workout for my #hansonsonsmarathonmethod plan. I've been battling knee pain, but the last few days have been very encouraged by how things are going; I just have to know when to stop. This morning I decided to try the prescribed 12x400m repeats at marathon pace, and oh my god I managed to finish them! My cool down is where I did a little bit of walking, but before that it was 25 degrees or so, and I was feeling grateful and pretty strong. I may still be trimming a bit of mileage as my knee gets back to normal, but this was SO encouraging.
