Last long run & feeling strong and ready
You know it’s getting close to race day when you get wake up excited to run! This mornings 3:30 alarm called for 13 miles(8:30) and a quick 10 mile bike ride. Embraced all the hills & humidity this morning. Kept my miles comfortably easy due to some hamstring discomfort.
Marathon training is such a rewarding cycle of my life. Each run teaches me that I always have a little more to give. It has taught me to push my body past limits I never thought I could. It has taught me to chase my dreams and to dream BIG. Ready to chase a new PR in 8 days!!

These MGP miles felt great today. They were a little faster than goal pace but my confidence about race day is slowly building. Tapering is hard for me. I start to get anxious about goals and cutting back my miles. It’s time to trust in the process and my wonderful coach @be.fit.davis Who not only pushes me everyday to be a stronger runner but inspired me to become an online running coach.
Saturday wrapped up Peak week of @phxmarathon training with 80 miles ♀️. Boy oh boy my legs were still feeling my 22 hilly miles from Saturday. Today’s easy pace was faster than planned since I decided to stay in the bed for a extra couple minutes this morning .
