The Fish yoga pose - Matsyasana - helps to release the tension from the chest area and upper back, and as a result, the breath deepens and the body relaxes deeper. by opening the heart area physically we also open it energetically, and it has the healing effect on the heart. the energy circulation improves around the heart, because in this posture we stretch the energy channels, nadi’s, creating more space in them, and that frees the stuck energy in the heart. practicing this posture helps us to feel more free, liberated, alive, energized, it helps to drop the unnecessary tension and heaviness we hold on to in our heart center. as the energy can flow freely in an uninterrupted, more powerful stream, our connection to the Great Spirit strengthens and takes us deeper into its magic healing light.
