It’s the height of summer with long days and golden rays from above, when I love to spend hours and hours enjoying life outside.
This is one of the favourite corners of my garden, where I spend endless evenings with a freshly squeezed orange juice in my hand and a new book.
Welcome to my colourful world, where exotic pieces from cultures around the globe mingle.
Today I put together a hidden picnic among my plants, a bohemian and effortless touch where every object tells a story. Each trip has unforgettable memories.
The blanket picnic is from Indonesia, the lanterns and the door are from India, one of the baskets is from Ghana and the other is from Morocco (along with my bag), my favorite hat is from Ecuador, a textile with colourful pompoms from Guatemala and my book about Interior design from Iran – Behind Closed Curtains.
Do you have a go-to picnic blanket? If you’re looking for inspiration, I have plenty on my website.
