I love adapting foods to be #lowcarb or #keto and these lemon blueberry pancakes were a big hit this morning! Found @birchbenders pancake and waffle mix at my local @costco. It's paleo so more carby, but the mix is also grain, dairy, gluten and sugar free! Bub and I don't do strict keto anyway so we could fit these in our #macros. These were my 3rd attempt and I think I got it just right. So easy and tasty... adapt it to your tastes or what you have on hand. For those counting carbs, 3 pancakes were under 30g #netcarbs. 1 cup Birch Benders Pancake and Waffle Mix
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup cream or half n half (or sub your fave nut or coconut milk)
1 cup blueberries (or any fruit really)
1 tsp lemon zest
2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
1/8 tsp cinnamon
Had the most random and unexpected afternoon falling in love with this dog, he wandered into our front garden this afternoon and stayed with us for a couple of hours while we found his owner. He is an Old English Sheepdog called Nigel! He gave me so many cuddles and I managed not to squeeze too hard which for those who know me was *very* difficult. He was even completely chilled when I forced him to have a selfie, he was just trying to lick my face! 4 sets of 8-10 hip thrusts with barbell.
3 sets of 12 straight leg deadlift’s with dumbbells.
4 sets of 6-8 hack squats.
4 sets of 12 hamstring curls superset with leg extensions.
4 sets of 12 hip abductors.
6 sled pushes (my turf is super short so I didn’t rest at all).
1 resistance banded flute bridge till failure.
