Credit: @everythingeverywhere During my massive 5,000 mile road trip the last few weeks, I got to visit Colorado National Monument. It isn’t the most popular national park site, but it should be better known. It would certainly be deserving of national park status. I got this photo by waiting for the clouds to move and shine on the rock pillars.
When I visited Antarctica in 2012 with @gadventures, one of the shots on my list that I wanted to get was a diving penguin. During our entire time in Antarctica, I didn’t see any diving penguins. However, on the last day we were there, we found a group a penguins that keep climbing a small iceberg and diving back into the water. They kept doing it over and over. It was like they knew I needed the photo and were doing their best to help out.
