BREAKTHRU!!! practice and patience has finally paid off. Found my sweet spot for deadlifts right in time for peak! Crazy how changing your form by just an inch can change so much! 350 for a 6x2 tonight with a 315 4x2 pause to finish tonight off. Huge confidence boost tonight. Last night, I had some making up to do! The good thing is, bench and Deadlifts can go together without really taxing your body! Actually I sort of prefer it! After deadlifts, I was pretty warmed up! Bench flowed pretty nicely! Did my volume block of 6 sets x 4 reps. Yeah Ive been killing myself when I shouldnt be. Haha ohh wells, its good for me! Conditioning is key and volume does wonders. With all of that I was able to do 6 sets of 4 at 160kg/352.7 lbs and bench at 6 sets x 4 at 97.5kg/214.5lbs for my volume block. Felt great! This program really has done great things for me in a short time. My body is reacting very nicely to it. Over all a great session! Warum benutzt man eine Erhöhung⁉️

Aufgrund der Fersenerhöhung geht ein vermehrtes verschieben der Knie nach vorn einher. Sprich die Knie schieben sich deutlich weiter über die Fuszehen. ▫️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Folge:⁉️
Durch die erhöhte ROM (Range of motion/ Bewegungsradius) und Dehnug aller beteiligten Muskulaturen rund um das Kniegelenk, erhöht sich vorallem durch das vorschieben der Knie über die Fußspitzen, die Aktivierung des m. quadtriceps femoris (Oberschenkelvorderseite) ▫️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Und nein ich kann euch beruhigen... das vorschieben der Knie über die Fußzehen ist per se nicht schlecht für das Knie.

Das vorschieben der Knie über die Fußzehen findet bei uns im Alltag so oft
statt... Beim aufsteigen von Treppen, wenn wir in die Hocke gehen (wenn wir uns hinsetzen). Gerade bei Kleinkindern sieht man noch die schönsten Hocken bei dem sich die Knie deutlich über die Fußzehen schieben wenn sie spielen. ▫️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Es ist von Natur aus also völlig normal und gesund ✔️

Competition Nutrition is important! -
But it's something I see people getting wrong time and time again! -
It's a pretty personal thing, is the honest answer, you know what foods are going to agree with you or not, so maybe think twice before ordering that vindaloo or kebab the night before, not unless you want to make squats interesting for yourself and all around you! -
Really you should be prioritising carbs, carbs are your main energy source, more carbs, more energy, generally more performance. -
Do not worry about trying to eat clean, no one wants to be eating sweet potatoes when off the scales, look at high energy calorie dense foods, essentially the most bang for your buck!
Haribo and doughnuts are your friends on comp day! -
Another thing often overlooked is sodium, especially if you have been weight cutting or water loading… -
You have probably pissed out a lot of sodium, and sodium helps you perform and function, a personal favorite of mine is a bag of crisps! Carbs and sodium are gold! -
Try to time your food evenly throughout the day, try and eat the bulk of your food after weighing in, but obviously try not to bloat yourself, squats with bloat don't mix... -
Eating between attempts is important, the last thing you want to do is be running out of steam just as deadlifts are about to start! -
Caffeine drinks, energy tablets, doughnuts, and cake are your friends on comp day! -
High energy, low residue foods are your go too…. -

Lately the weight has been moving fantastic while tech has been improving. Pretty satisfied w/ the last 2 bench days 190lbs x4 and 165lbs x9. Control of the weight & pauses have been getting better every session even during high volume sets, which is usually when my form breaks down a fuck ton. Probably bc I got over the fear of being crushed if I paused for longer than a millisecond lol

Skwaats felt off today but still got through them. Watching the videos I was keeping head up as went into hole instead of following with torso. Plus kept feeling odd with foot placement. Doing a 7x1 with 375lbs was bad timing for me being off. Oh well still completed and will do better next time. Note your mistakes and apply corrective actions the next time 💪👌
