You cannot drown your demons,
they know how to swim.
That feeling when you can take off all the facades and enjoy your evil evening soak like the magical monster you are. And only I can call myself a monster. I'll accept the title Water Witch from you lot.
Just keep calm and stay inside the salt circle..That's a joke, ain't no salt stopping ol yellow eyes, dummies.
@calusabrewing sent me some beers and this one really spoke to me. Not only does it look like a monster guarding some treasure in Hyrule's oceans, but it also is a dark sour and I haven't had one of those in a while and I'm quite a fan of the style.
Was not disappointed! Blackberries and dark malts aged in bourbon barrels makes this a tart and oaky beer. It pours a burnt red color (you can see where the bottle erupted when I opened it) but in the glass it's black as this water with a quickly dissipating red head.
I actually poured it in a glass but it was hard to hold it in this position and just looked awkward.
I might still hate baths but I just found a way to almost make me not mind them. I thoroughly enjoyed the spooky looking water. It looked gross but in a good way and I truly felt like some powerful woman sipping my tart black drink. You can't tell but there's glitter too so your dark but shimmery and it's perfect.
Hope everyone had a great weekend, I went to an impromptu book signing and met Becky Albertalli! It was wonderful and she was so lovely .

QOTD: What is your current read? I'm in a bit of a book slump right now ans need to find a good new read
It was never Joel's intention to read tea leaves at a small table in the corner of Cafe Doris at the end of the pier. It was a way to make money when he was desperate and he'd found a teapot on the street. You know - the way one does. He was never an actual believer until one night he predicted a man's death. And sure enough just as dawn was breaking the man in question fell off the pier and into the ocean. It was one of the dancers in the nightly Cafe Doris burlesque show who spotted the body. She'd just slipped out for a smoke and a smooch.
