Once my friend was complaining that a girl, who he was trying to charm, is being annoyed by some mysterious prince X. The mystery man was sending her flowers. I just smiled back. Put a like for me, if you don’t mind!
I remember a friend of mine who was calling her boyfriend and screaming in the telephone “Thank you for the flowers!!! Ah, they’re not from you? Then from whom? Ah it must be the #secretadmirer again?” . Her eyes told it all – she was lying. And the girl of my friend couldn’t even take a picture of the 80 roses she received from the unknown altruist. Because this was a premium-class lie.
For me it remains a mystery, does such secret admirer even exist in the world? Is there a non-finctious one, who really sends presents and flowers to just provoke some jealousy from the girlfriends and competition with your main man?
When I think of the civilian, who sends huge bouquets and doesn’t even attempt to get something in return (seems to be some kind of charity), I instantly think of some sort of maniac like Jack Nicholson, standing with an axe at your door.
And, if I think about it, I realize none of the guys I know acted as secret admirers longer than a couple of days. Is all of this then just women’s fantasy?
In any case, if you made this man up, then you girls should know this is #manipulation. #Lying and #provocation in hopes to get your patient hooked. I don’t know if it works, maybe it indeed does for some short time. Give it a thought though, why to even bother?
If the man is just attempting to impress you and you want to encourage him to take action, then start to go on real dates and choose the proper men from the pool in reality.
And, in case you really want the flowers THAT badly, did you try asking for them?
Did you ever hear about secret admirers? Maybe you even saw one?
