Part 3/3 ❤️ Special stories like this is why we do what we do. Meet Bryan... Being orphaned, Bryan has limited access to the help he needs to improve his life, due to his severe ADHD and epilepsy. Bryan was hyperactive, non-verbal, violent, had no impulse or interaction control, and no perception of danger. As well as being unable to make eye contact or sit down for even a minute, for Bryan, getting along with other children was near impossible.
The closed playpen you see in the latter images is a specially built room we were able to provide for kids like Bryan, to both receive therapy and enjoy his own space, without posing any physical risk to the other children.
The child you see in the first photo is Bryan, sitting with friends for over 15 minutes, focused on stringing toys together... all thanks to therapy 3x a week in our sensory room. His progress is astounding.
Bryan is a true testament of the change you can make to someone’s life with your generosity. We would love your support in fostering more inspiring stories like Bryan’s. If you haven’t thought about it already, buy your tickets now to to our annual fundraiser, our #MoMCharityDinner2019. See you there ✨💃🏻
