What is a Colour Catcher?? It’s an amazing piece of paper that you throw in your washing machine to catch running colour dyes! Thanks to our Crochet and Quilting Teacher, Elizabeth, these could save you so much heartache. If you are washing your fabric, quilting or yarn project for the first time, and it’s a mix of dark and light colours - make sure you throw in a Colour Catcher! The sheet will attract any excess dye so it doesn’t run into the lighter colours or onto other items in the wash. Red, black and navy blue are notorious for running in the first wash.
Find them in your laundry aisle at the supermarket. This photo was taken at @colessupermarkets. What a great invention!
