For $32++ you can get a lunch set of starters (soup)+ 2 sides + rice + desserts; which sounded amazing. Given the beautiful setting, pretty menu, what could go wrong? We went straight ahead without asking what the mains were, and regretsssss wtf its just your local home cooked food served at exorbitant prices. Nevertheless, objectively the food was cooked well (a little too salty), but as a local I don't think this is worth it at all nor "true blue" peranakan (it's just Chinese food -.-) Isn't Peranakan food about the curries and use of dyes/leaves?!?? What is this. Dessert was my childhood most hated thing but oh wells - you learn from your mistakes - will be less impulsive next time.
Ambience/decor was great tho (swipe to end!!), so was the service, and rose tea! Would come for tea break but sadly they don't do tea menus/ service
