Hi! I know a lot of you have just discovered me, so welcome. Here’s a bit about me! 💁🏻♀️ I’m a strength and fitness coach at @hypeusq in Manhattan. Every single one of my clients gets stronger, but much of my work consists of just helping my clients (who are mostly women) realize that they are already strong. I believe that strength training for women is a feminist act of resistance. 💪🏻💪🏼💪🏽💪🏾💪🏿 I have a holistic approach in that I consider stress, sleep, nutrition, and social relationships. Oh, and I’m a goofball. I love to joke between sets.
Science excites me and I have a podcast called Somatopsychics that explores the links between physiology and psychology! 🗣 I also write lots of articles, which can be found on my website or on @womensstrengthcoalition I’m not just nerdy about science, though. 🔬 I’m also an art museum junkie, 🎨 and I’ve got an MFA in Writing. 📓 Another topic I’m very passionate about is my cat, @morganthemunchkin 😺
I also have a lot of education and experience in the post-rehab world, so working with me is a perfect next step if you are finishing up physical therapy or have some concerns about safety or pain when moving. Most of my education in this area comes from @posturalrestoration
