An ever so slightly newer leaf bowl... I have quite enjoyed making these, I am particularly fond of how the glazes layered on this piece, though the form stoops quite low due to the position of the footring (certainly not helped by the heat of the kiln either). In terms of practicality, these certainly are not that. Perhaps for jewelry or a set of keys or two, but likely no more. Does this decrease their value? Would they sell?
I suppose it doesn't matter too much at the moment, after all I haven't started studying yet, but it is something I have started to think about more recently.
