IT'S MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND and when I found out that meant "SAAAAAALLLLLLLEEEE" at the outlet mall near my apartment, I drove my butt over there and picked up a few things I have been needing.
Ya'll, I LOVE TO SHOP.... but the truth is that up until a few years ago, I always felt like it was a luxury I couldn't really afford as an actor, without going into debt. I can remember walking into stores and calculating costs so that I wouldn't have to go through the embarrassment of putting item after item back at the register.
But today was different. I was on a mission to find a pair of wedges to replace my old ones, some new patterned leggings, and some supportive workout sneakers... and because I knew that there were deals going on at the mall, I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't vear away from the stores I had already decided to go into.
I felt such a sense of FREEDOM in KNOWING that I could afford this little shopping spree..... and the best part about it was, that after it was all said and done, I only spent $120, which was fully covered by a bonus I earned with my Coaching paycheck this week! HOLLLLLLLAAAAA!
So today, I will celebrate this FREEDOM in the form of: * 2 Pairs of Reebok Sneakers
* 1 new Pair of Wedges
* 2 Pairs of Lululemon Leggings * And 1 Lululemon Sports Bra
What would you do with an extra $200 a week?
What would you do if you stopped being so afraid of dreaming BIG and blew that goal out of the water?
