So the other day I posted from my back doing a biceps exercise. Today it’s a better face pull! Here’s why!! One of the most important components of the face pull is the external rotation at the shoulder. When done standing, most people tend to miss this by letting the elbows Get back but forgetting to get the hands back too. Here, the floor will tell on you if you do it wrong! The goal is to touch BOTH your thumbs and your elbows to the floor on every rep! Next, keep them there for a count of 2-3 to ensure that you didn’t just use momentum to get in that position. Cant feel your rear delts working in rear lateral movements? Try this.
_
▪ Firstly its always good to have somthing to brace into, in this case im using a bench to stabilize myself by shoving my feet into the floor and chest locked into the pad so nothings moving.
_
▪ While face down on the bench keep the shoulders "protracted" (shoved forward) hands inline with chin and arms ridged throughout.
_
▪ To minimize scapula retraction (shoulder blade) movement, raise the weights only until scapula fires.
_
▪ reach for the ground at the bottom and push out to the sides on the way up, (think push out, not up & down)
_
▪ think about pulling from the elbows (as opposed to the wrists / hands)
_
▪ elbows should be pushed outwards (turned out, inline with the angle of force)
_
▪ Dont bother touching the dumbbells at the bottom of the movement where there is no tension, keep the dumbells at least a foot apart if not more.
_
▪ You dont need big weights for this movement, to get right and feel the rear delts working lighten up the load.

• SHOULDERS 🥥

• Comme prévu après le petit post d’hier vous avez été plusieurs à demander les épaules donc on commence la semaine avec ça! Le prochain sera pecs 🔥 parce que oui les filles aussi les font 😍 d’ailleurs j’espère que tu en fais parties ? 🧐😁

• DÉTAILS :
- EXO 1/2 en biset, élévation latérales aux haltères + élévation unilatérale à la poulie. Double sensation, brûlure à fond! (10/12 reps)
- Exo 3 : Développer militaire au guider, essayer de pas trop descendre en dessous de l’axe épaule/coude (je confirme sans miroir c’est compliqué de se repérer aha) [10/12reps]
- Exo 4 : développer militaire haltère en unilatérale. J’aime le fait de bosser en unilatéral des petits muscles pour d’autant plus éviter la compensation d’un côté plus que l’autre comme juste avant c’était à la barre c’est toujours plus sympa (à mes yeux en tout cas!) [8/10 reps]
- Exo 5 : Élévations frontales avec deux disques différents 8 reps a 10kg, 12/15 reps à 5kg pareil pour cramer davantage.
- Exo 6 : Tirage unilatérale pour l’arrière d’épaule. Je teste cet Exo pour la deuxième fois, il y a encore des améliorations à faire par rapport aux mouvements dans le sens où mon omoplate a tendance à sortir trop mais niveau ressenti je préfère largement à l’oiseau 🔥 (10/12reps)

• Du coup hésite pas à enregistrer le petit training & même à taguer un copain/copines avec qui le faire prochainement ! Ah & tant qu’on y est je veux pleins de 🥥🥥🥥 en commentaires 😋🔥
