In all seriousness though this place totally lives up to the hype. The atmosphere is electric, alive with the energy of the all time greats, past and present. And I don’t just mean figuratively. @schwarzenegger was putting in work within feet of me this morning! A truly incredible experience to work out next to the man himself. I still regret not asking for a picture but I was trying my hardest to keep it together and act β€œnormal”.πŸ˜‚

Weekly check-in this morning. Pictures taken around 6:30am fasted pre-Cardio! Weight was 75.5kg.

Waist slowly tightening up and everything is coming together slowly. With no end goal insight right now, I’ve got to keep an eye out, so my performance won’t deteriorate too much in the long run.

Last exercise from today’s Pull session - T-Bar Rows. Managed to get 4 plates on, very fatigued. Will try them earlier in the session on the next cycle, and hopefully push for 5 plates!

4th exercise in today’s Pull session! Super set wide Grip Rows And Narrow Grip Rows on the T-Bar Row Machine. I usually struggle with my balance on here, hence why I usually go for volume. However, it wasn’t too bad today, as I hit 60kg on here. Normal T Bar Rows, is usually hope to at least get another 40kg on😁

1 down, 2 to go! 3am cardio sessions, 4 hours of driving a day, 19 hour days with 4-5 hours sleep, studying a Law degree, working part-time and still getting a second daily weights session in. Hard work does pay off. This is just the beginning! Next stop, Level 4 Total Immersion Personal Trainer (top) qualification😁

After my first proper rest day in months, due to exams in London, I’m back down @fitness_studio_1 with a Push session! The rest has done me a world of good both physically and mentally! First time pushing 4 plates per side (before dropping down to 3 pps) in months 😁

As much as I love the scientific side of bodybuilding, I do see some people using it as an excuse to limiting themselves. Why stop at 5 reps of 75% of your maximum, if you’re capable of another 2 reps? Just because your log book told you so? Just enjoy the process and give 100%😁

Typically I like to end my chest days with some sort of pushups (weighted, incline, decline, medicine ball etc.), but in a continued effort to break out of the mold I typically hold myself to I tried something different. The video above may seem like a simple incline hammer Press, but it is actually a lot more. While performing this exercise I concentrated on being explosive during the concentric (positive) portion of the rep and really exaggerating the eccentric (negative) portion of the rep. This adds a whole new dimension to the exercise and challenges the muscle in a way that it’s not used to being challenged.
