Consistency is important. And I mean, REALLY important.
Whether you want success with your fitness, business or personal goals, you need to be putting in the work, day in day out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m being serious when I say this: a lot of people think they’re being consistent, but they’re not. They think they’re working hard, but really, they’re not. If you spend 3 hours watching TV every night from 8-11, yet you say you don’t have time to go to the gym or to work on your side hustle... then you are just lying to yourself. Sure, you may be tired from work. I get that. But if you are and you don’t put in the work, don’t complain that you’re not seeing results. It’s harsh, but true. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve started several ventures while being in a full time job PLUS a 3.5 hour commute. I’ve done it while at university, and I’ve done it while juggling all this with content creation and engagement with my audience, and training (and also last year, competition prep). Trust me, consistency is everything. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
...and look, I’m all about being mentally and physically healthy: that’s my thing. But seriously, if you waste energy complaining, you will not achieve what you want to achieve. It’s all about prioritisation: what matters most to you? Put this energy towards DOING. And if you’re trying to do too much and cannot find a healthy balance, just know that you cannot do everything. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
