There are sheet masks that treat or target almost every skin concern. In the Korean Skincare World - a #sheetmask is sometimes used twice a day! Besides the obvious reasons that sheet masking adds extra hydration or spot treats- ex: puffy eyes; it’s also a fun way to pamper yourself!
In #Calgary I have purchased sheet masks at @hudsonsbay @shoppersdrugmart @walmart
The A Mart and E Mart (#yyc Korean Supermarkets) have a ton of selection too!
Sometimes it can be overwhelming and difficult to pick the right mask! So here are some “keywords” to look for when shopping for sheet masks
Pores - green tea, charcoal, lactic acid
Dry Skin - ceramides, squalene, collagen, hyaluronic acid, rice bran oil, vitamin E, honey, macadamia oil and antioxidants like açai berry
Acne - salicylic acid, tea tree oil, green tea and niacinamide
Pigmentation- “whitening” “brightening” niacinamide, vitamin C, pearl, and licorice root extract
Anti-aging - ampoule, snail bee concentrate, red wine, gold, retinol
Eye Patches - brightening, ginko biloba, hyaluronic acid, collagen, niacinamide
MASKS GO IN THE FRIDGE! A cool mask at the end of a long day feels absolutely incredible!
Don’t use masks that contain glycolic acid daily as it is a harsh ingredient and will dry the skin.
