Had the greatest stay on a family owned coffee farm in Uganda, learnt all the tricks of the trade...traditional, slow roasted style. No pesticides, no carbon footprint, no electricity/technology/machinery.. 76yr old Judith, grandmother and owner of the coffee plantation reckons.. "As soon as you plug your coffee to a wall, to either roast, peel, grind or boil... You ruin all my hard work I've put into the farming of the beans. Coffee should be enjoyed slow and traditionally"
She was right. I'll never experience those flavours again, as I've never met anyone fire roasting their home grown coffee...yet... #uganda #coffee #slowroasted
