MUM HACK. Next year, our budget is going to be tighter as we now have private school fees and a new mortgage! Even now I try to keep our family dinner around $10avrg a night for 5 of us and I’m generally successful. I’m preparing by stocking up the freezer with bulk meats. All of this was $140 at a wholesale type meat shop. (Pendle hill ham and Wesfresh are the ones I go to) (and I buy premium mince for cheap at Costco) There is about 20kgs, including lamb, chicken and a whole sliced free rump steak which I cut up for stir fry and steak dinners. I divided into portions and got about 35 dinners out if it. We don’t eat a heap of meat so this should last us about 2 months. Definitely a good $ saving option if you have the freezer space 👌🏽 What are your favourite ways to save $$?
