It may seem like I have it all together, but most days, I don’t I wait until the last minute to get ready every.single.morning and then end up running around like a maniac because I hate being late ♀️ I have to write EVERYTHING down or else I forget in a matter of minutes I leave clothes in the washer for days before realizing I never switched them over to the dryer then once they’re in the dryer, I leave them in there so I don’t have to fold them ♀️ on Sundays, I usually stay in my pajamas the entire day and never put myself together unless we have somewhere to be I struggle with disciplining Jaycen because sometimes I can’t tell if his tantrums are autism related or not, which in turn makes me feel like a failure I’m telling you all of this because it’s important to remember that what you see on social media isn’t always 100% reality ♀️ I always want you to know what I’m a hot mess just like you, trying to make it through each day with a smile on my face I’m not anything special, I don’t have any secret hidden talents, and I’m definitely NOT perfect. I just want to live a healthier, happier life! And I’m here to help you do the same .
If it wasn't for these two, today wouldn't mean SO much.
It's not always a cake walk or smiles and laughs 100% of the time, but I love them to pieces every day of it. And I "snogol" with them whenever they want!
This Dad life isn't just about going through the motions. You can't half ass it. And what I want most is for them to see how I treat their Mom, other people and walk the walk. Cause at the end of the day, my advice means shit, and my example says it all.
To all of the Daddys out there doing your thang... Happy Father's Day!! I hope you enjoyed your time!!
I know how to make my human feel better when she’s sick: snuggles
Watching this man as a father is seriously the best thing. I love seeing the glow on his face as he rocks Gemma and hearing the joy in his voice as he plays with Gideon. The gentleness as he holds and reads to them, the excitement as he leads them in new experiences. The sacrifice of sleepless nights, working two jobs, coming home late to still do dishes and put away laundry, and waking up early to spend quality time with them. He teaches me to savor the moment, linger a little longer, and favor memories over schedules. He serves us with strength and steadfastness. Thank you @gingle87 for being willing to grow as God uses fatherhood to sanctify you with both humility and courage. Thank you for reflecting the Father for our children. Happy Father’s Day from the three of us
