A little more crazy snowfall here and some on seasonably snowy conditions taking lots of deicing to remedy.
started up the old mastercraft snowblower, and decided for the hell of it to go all the way to the end of my street and back more or less clearing the sidewalk for all the people who how to dash off for school and work in the morning and haven't got to it yet.
Heck it's not an entirely selfless act I have to walk on a damn thing myself and if I don't do this I'm going to be breaking my neck tomorrow this time!
My reward after all of that was that the postman,at last dropped off a second one of these Vivitar lenses. I've been waiting for this one for a while unfortunately it's a little hazy and fungusy and will need some work.
Mechanically and aesthetically otherwise in great condition.
These lenses are so versatile and incredibly Sharp parfocal zooms for full-frame cinematography and photography... they are absolute gold dust.
Matching pair of #Vivitar #Tokina zoom #vintagelenses, named
Franny and Zooey.
at the moment Franny is the one that is mission ready, perfect back focus on #Fotga FD-NEX adapter
35-105mm, f3.5 constant, locking #macro ring MC.
most of the lenses that tokina made in the mid-70s for various manufacturers like soul Igor Vivitar and others have the exact same optical properties and Rock solid build quality.
I dare say these are quite pretty to look at mechanically even at their advanced age!
