Cafe-hopping on typhoon day.
Their signature is actually Tsujiri, but I’m not a big fan of matcha, so I chose Le Petite Prince (red-color, rose-like cake) and it’s very good, I love the lychee taste. However, the hubby said it’s too sweet for him.
Our main aim was their soufflé, which is only available after 1730. They only have the original flavor today. I actually don’t have a good impression on soufflé because what I ate in the past are very very sweet, but the hubby asked for it. And this surprised me, it’s not sweet if you don’t add too much of the sauce (caramel?), and the custard tastes very nice. And I love the raspberry sorbet that comes with it! (I’m a huge sorbet fan)
Their waffle is very good, better than some of the waffles I’ve ate. It’s not very sweet and the matcha ice-cream is nice.
I love how their coffees and teas are served. He said the coffee cubes au-lait tastes very good. I ordered Carmen, which is sort of like fruit tea served in a very Bohemian way, and it goes very well with the cake, it balances the sweetness of the cake.
The environment is very nice and cozy, provided if the other customers don’t talk too loudly.
