I am not a runner, I have never been a runner. Yesterday, my body (and mind) pushed itself to a limit that I would never have expected. After a restless aching sleep, I’m realising what an achievement it is and how incredible it was.
My legs carried me around 13.1miles of the finest Hackney streets!!!! (albeit slower than I had aimed, it was far too hot for someone with this amount of hair!) it is so far, so so far but the crowd were unbelievable. ♀️
Major props to the one lone gal cheering everyone’s name around mile 11 at the top of a bridge in the Olympic Park. We ALL needed you
Aside from allowing me to learn Cardi B’s album word for word, running cleanses my mind.
This year has been an incredible time of growth, independence and blooming.
It’s been a year of finding boundaries, self-love and myself and in doing so, I have achieved a whole manner of things that I didn’t think were possible. There is plenty more work to do but I’m thriving not surviving
Thank you to everyone who donated, together we raised almost £700 for @magicbreky.
