TODAY'S EXERCISE - Squat Jump
•Target Body Part: Calves, Glutes, Hamstrings, Core, and Quadriceps.
•Equipment Needed This Month: Dumbbell(s)

TIPS
•Grab a pair of light dumbbells. Start out light and gauge your ability. If it’s too easy, adjust and increase the weight. The weight should be challenging, but you should be able to complete a round with good form.
•Jump up off your toes. Land softly on your toes and with soft knees (slightly bent).
•EXHALE as you jump and INHALE on your way down.
•Make sure your movements are controlled.

Instead of counting reps, set an interval timer and perform for 30-40 seconds. Take 60 seconds rest and repeat the round once or twice more. Notice how your body feels, take all the rest you need. Just focus on maintaining PROPER FORM and your BREATHING.

The truth is that individual workouts don’t matter much, but regularity does. Specific sets, reps, and weights are all less important than showing up regularly. Remember to always warm-up and stretch first.

✈️ DELTA DEDICATION ✈️
Flight was delayed on my way back to NYC 😢. So since I've been sitting at a conference allll weekend, I decided to squeeze in a little workout.
2 rules for working out "in public": 1. Think out of the box. Use the natural terrain of what you have around you and reinterpret and innovate and adapt. At the very least, use only your bodyweight, stretch, or just walk!
2. Do not worry about what other people will think! My whole gate was watching me do this. They were either cheering me on or letting me know that I inspired them.
DO IT LIKE THIS: 20 seconds of each exercise, 20 second rest in between. Repeat the list 3 times. I boarded the flight feeling refreshed, focused, and better able to sit for 5+ hours. ⚡️⚡️
