Need to work on depth with this 405 but at my lowest point I still got it to parallel! So I’m happy! Next step is to get deeper. I just realized after watching the video I didn’t have my feet set right and my legs were to close together. Oh well I’ll try 405 again in a couple weeks

It was super humid and felt like I was lifting double than usual... I am pushing into week 4 of my workouts on this prep and need to do higher reps comparing to usual.

It’s going to be challenging but can be done no matter what ☺️

Things continue moving in the right direction! Last heavy training session before the meet. 10lb PR on squats @ 340lb, and a rep PR with 315lb x4!! On bench I got a gym PR of 220lb x1 😁 made some great faces on the 315 set so enjoy them! Haha #TeamBG

Since I quit coaching I SWEAR people see me as being more approachable. I’m in the gym 6-7 days a week & there’s ALWAYS someone who asks me for advice, or to help them with a “problem area” or I’ll catch a girl mimicking my workouts and to be honest I adore that shit!! I didn’t get where I am with some fancy degree in training or certification or whatever, I researched until I found what worked for me. .
Listen ladies, I know it’s hard to do something that scares you- do it anyway, that’s the only way you’re going to grow. Don’t compare where you are right now to someone who was there years ago. Progress takes time, it takes consistency. Trust in the process and don’t be afraid to ask for help along the way. (I know for a fact my bestie @beingfitislegit_ would have your back if you want to work out at home!) .
