”What’s the story morning glory?...” annnnnd now I have Oasis from HS stuck in my head . These beauties will go to the eventually.... How do you prepare them? Cut & toss in? Or cut and dry few days first?? Cut & save for winter treat?!
Results up! This beautiful bunch of seedlings were tested just a few weeks from seed. Solid mix of males and fems. Our data from a few thousand plants generally supports a 50:50 male:female ratio from seeds. Next time you pop a pack, give me a shout so you can really know what you're working with!
We have been SO busy lately our garden has gotten a bit neglected. Luckily the cucumbers aren’t holding it against us.
We planted a ton of pickling cucumbers this year and can’t wait to start!
Need any ?
This beauty started out in a bag of birdseed After helping me fill up the bird feeders Landen picked up one of the sunflower seeds that fell onto the grass. He picked it up and told me he was going to plant in, I responded, go ahead. Next he carefully planted it in a small pot that barley had an soil inside it and put the pot on the other side of the house. Naturally we forgot all about it for a couple weeks. But one afternoon, while playing over on the other side of the house, he excitedly came over to me and showed me that his little sunflower seed had sprouted and was about an inch tall at this time Landen and I have since repotted that little sprout several times and always making sure she is watered.
I love this perfect little pirate and his perfect little sprout #sunflower#startfromseed#grandson#family
Didnt plan on growing #acornsquash this year but looks like I am now. I threw all my starter plants from the plant sale in my soil. So this is what I'm left with. I would have to say it's done pretty well growing out of a concrete block. Also growing a #sunflower and #cucumber right along with it.
