Through the help of some amazing, inspiring friends, I spent the last two months of 2018 working on my resiliency and achieving some long-struggles through goals. I finished strong! The hubs and I then took out family on a long road trip to one of our favorite places in the world-a special, vibrant, little farm. We had a lovely time.
Then we returned.
In this, the first real week of 2019, we are back to work and our regular routine, I have:
Fallen down the stairs in front of my children
Broken a glass (a result of above-listed fall)
Melted completely through a plastic container full of food by placing it on the stove then accidentally turning on that burner instead the one under my pot of soup-a convenient if not embarrassing way to achieve the coveted all glass food storage award
Burned some bacon
Flipped my lunch plate of salad on its head (this the result of some sneaky ninja babies)
And shattered two (not one, two) of my cherished wedding mugs (picture here in a lovely amaro filter)
All this while being asked by my children, "Why did you do that?" To which I answered, "I have no idea, but please note that I am not crying and I am not screaming." #startingstrong here in Indiana! It's going to be a great year! #onelongweek
How is your resiliency training going?! Mine is on fleek.
