When there's something you want, you have to work for it. There is no magic wand that's going to give you what you want in abit direct of life. I'm far, far from perfect, but I have learned a few things along the way in this journey of transformation and self discovery. I still make mistakes, don't get me wrong.
I wanted to lose the weight for years. And I even tried several times, but I didn't want it bad enough. I made excuses. LOTS of them. I had an excuse for why I couldn't lose the weight, why I couldn't stick to a meal plan, why I couldn't go to the gym.
But they were all just excuses. I said "I can't" so many times that if I had a dollar for every one of them I'd be rich.
I "Can't" lives at the corner of fucking won't street. 99% off the time you CAN do it, you just don't want to. All the reasons you "can't" are excuses. Own that shit. Recognize the excuses for what they are and overcome them. Be stronger than those excuses!
Even if you have major health issues, there are options. Exercises can be modified, diet plans can be supervised, etc. Even if you work long hours, you can fit in a 30 minute workout at home.
But really, it's not just about weight loss. You can apply the same principles to pretty much anything. I wanted to change jobs, and made a bunch of excuses not to for a while. Then I finally did it, with a TON of trepidation, and I am so happy I finally did even when it was (and still is) super scary! LOL.
Step out of your comfort zone where life really begins.
