Rupam Didi is a resident of Lalbagh, a mother of two. Since her teenage, she always endeavoured for independence and was on the lookout for opportunities. However, the social construct forced her to an early marriage, making her ambitions take a backseat.
In April 2018 the setting up of the RO plant in Lalbagh made her dormant dreams come to life. Didi was appointed as an operator of the plant, and rather than an employee, she adopted the plant as her own, and has since always been striving to achieve higher levels of efficiency in her working and that of the plant.
From successfully running the plant to managing her household smoothly, Rupam Didi has emerged to be a true Superwoman and being her true dynamic and entrepreneurial self, she has now also mastered driving and confidently drives by herself.
