Shreya Pattar's Pen & Plane
"Discover the world and write your story"
Shreya wasn't sure when she suddenly got fond of tattoos, but she did. And out of the blue, she was adamant on getting one. Her tattoo artist explained the procedure, while she was staring at the needle, questioning her mom, “Mumma, please remind me how I convinced myself to get a tattoo when I don’t even get blood tests!!!”. Once she was pacified, she inhaled the deepest breath she ever would've and geared up to face the pain. Surprise, surprise! All forty minutes were a breeze. Contrary to popular belief that tattoos hurt, we'd like to make one thing clear for potential tattoo go-getters. Tattoos only hurt on sensitive parts of the body, where muscle layers are lesser like the wrist. So if you want to forego the pain, choose muscular parts.
"Today, after three months of back and forth, I now have a tattoo - made of a little black ink and lots of my soul. This mark on my body tells my story as a traveller, as a writer, as a human". While she bears a canny resemblance to stylista Sonam Kapoor, her writing style is her own, her travel experiences are her own and nobody can take them away from her. A content writer currently studying at Trinity College, Dublin, we love the fact that she has a talent and a passion that go hand-in-hand as depicted in her tattoo by @tattyoustudio and @jeffry_dsouza. With a writer's imagination, she can truly pretend that airplanes are like shooting stars! Fulfilling her travel bucket list!
