If you don't know about NYC-bred artist Jean-Michel Basquiat please check out my Link in Bio He started out as a graffiti artist and blossomed into a transformative figure on the art scene but was initially shunned by the establishment. He's one of my Top 5 favorite artists of all time and this tee shirt is a reproduction of his work.
Another amazing @jr piece spotted at the Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital. # There's a really cool secret about these installations & the photos he used . . . but I'm an art-chaser, not a surprise-killer!! Go forth & research; so worth it. #jr#nyhistory#wheatpastenyc
Philip Johnson saw architecture as art. His Glass House was one of the most important cultural salons of the 20th century. His rolodex read like The Who’s Who! Amazing that one could collect so many influential friends. He was also a mentor to a great many artists such as : Stella, Rauschenberg, Schnabel & Warhol. I’m showing the architectures and tomorrow some of the amazing art he collected. 1000s of which were donated years ago to MOMA. MetroNorth goes right there!!! Great restaurants walkable from there like Baldanza cafe
'It’s really important that you feel good. Because this feeling good is what goes out as a signal into the universe and starts to attract more of itself to you. So the more you can feel good, the more you will attract the things that help you feel good and that will keep bringing you up higher and higher'
