Just posting another take of one my favorite musician portraits - my good friend Lawrence - but adding a new story .... turns out Lawrence was doing a jazz tour in Africa .... causually driving to an event ... and to his amazement .... he saw his portrait on a highway billboard advertising a festival that he had no involvement with .... well ... turns out someone in Africa stole one of my images online ... most probably from my Flickr account ...and used his face and my image without anyone's knowledge or consent ... just another heads up ... that anything you post online can be stolen and used without any permission from the artist or the subject .... and if Lawrence hadn't been driving that day on a random highway on the other side of the world ... no one would have ever known ... just posting and sharing so that we all know .... #people #portrait

This is us, enjoying some chill time with the dogs and the cool air. It was a beautiful evening the night before school. It wasn’t as calm as it looked and the dogs refused to sit in the picture. I wasn’t really taking it to show us but more remind us of the moment. When we all sat together enjoying the unusually pink skies that evening. It’s moments like these I want to remember for ever.

“Smokey” I have a few lenses for my m9....but I still find I use either the Jupiter 8 or the voigtlander 28mm. The Jupiter has a nice way of rendering an image (little low contrast on other cameras though) and the voigtlander is sharp across the frame with little distortion...it’s my go to street lens for my Leica.

Otherwise known as "Robinson Petang" which means "Robinson in the afternoon" in Malay.

Finally closing its final chapter on July 10, after eight decades of existence.

Once notoriously known as "Thieves Market" as stolen items were reportedly sold there, the open-air market will make way for future residential and commercial developments.
