Here’s to another year of living🙏 lots of highs and lows but nonetheless I’m still happy to be here. I know it only gets better from here. This is the only douchy picture I got for my birthday lol . -
I actually tried doing the 10k calorie challenge (sry aldrin😅) but failed miserably. Had about 3k cals worth of food for my 1st meal then I crashed so hard and napped for like 3 hrs(I lost) so I called quits BUT I just had the craziest gym pump of my life. Still making the video but I don’t even know if it’s upload worthy😂 oh well. I’ll try again another time.

In a commercial gym setting, it's very easy to fall into the trap of only using machines.
.
I mean, these huge chunks of metal take up most of the space!
.
But in all honesty, a lot of them are a waste of time and space.
.
You end up moving forwards-backwards and up-down.
.
It's very rare that you'll ever have to move side-to-side or rotate.
.
But. .
Your body is designed to move like that!
.
What happens when you are eventually caught in a circumstance where you NEED to rotate?
.
Your body probably won't be in the best situation to deal with it.
.
Which is why it's important to train it.
.
In a controlled environment with the correct instruction of how to move and rotate your body.

As far as I am concerned, working out is not only good for your physical health it's also for mental health.

How low should you Squat?

Many people aim to emulate competition depth in their training when their bodies aren’t able to safely achieve that position.

You should aim to squat as low as you can whilst keeping your back straight and your shins as vertical as you can. As soon as one of these factors is compromised, you are going too low. As coaches, we can identify this point and help you work on achieving a depth that meets your goal and optimises how you function.

Dropping it like it’s hot with some reverse tempo goblet squats. Changing my tempo around a little to put more stress on my quads in the concentric phase, so that once this never-ending gypsy phase I’m currently in is over and I’m back to training normally again, I’ll be better equipped to take on that 32 kg pistol squat #futuregoals #notlongnow
