For near 20 years, I have been a “cardio queen!” I hated lifting weights (except my own body weight in PiYo) and chalked myself up for just being the “white girl with the cardio booty!” Then I got asked to be in a Test Group for a new program -80 Day Obsession- and I thought...why not? I was craving a new challenge.
The program markets a better booty and abs. Well...I already had the abs but could THIS program do the impossible and give me a fuller tush??? Another challenge I wanted to attack (and myth I wanted to dispel) was you couldn’t build muscle while eating a lower carb lifestyle...especially sugar. Old school thought is you need to “feed” the muscle glycogen to get it to grow. And although I also believe this, I don’t believe you need to eat or drink NEAR the amount those magazines tell us we need to!
So here is my progress from 1 and a half rounds of 80 Day Obsession with fewer carbs and almost no sugar.
I also truly LOVE the workouts! Since it was filmed live (all 80 days), there is zero repetition and you never get bored! Everyday is a different workout.
I’m putting together an accountability group starting January 8th if you’d like to join me and my friends! The emphasis will be on fueling your body with dense nutrition that is low in carbs and higher in healthy fats. I believe it is the magic in sculpting the perfect female form (and healthier too)!
