Think about this one for a sec..
How many times in a day or week do we spend criticizing ourselves?
Focusing on the things we dislike mentally or physically..
And next thing we know our moods go from feeling proud and accomplished, to being not worthy, & no longer good enough😔
We end up in a funk that carries on through the rest of the day that we just can’t seem to shake
That’s because our bodies are listening..
Think about it this way, ever notice how when we’re stressed & think about a certain situation over and over, we literally can FEEL it in our bodies?
Maybe that stress leads to lack of sleep, a headache, anxiety, fatigue, binge eating, etc.
The sameee type of scenario happens when we think negatively about ourselves or our appearance
No, I’m not saying that if you call yourself fat you’ll magically gain weight, BUT that single subconscious thought, leads to negative ACTIONS that will follow..
Skipping the gym because “what’s the point?”
Diving into the whole box of cookies🍪 because this damn diet isn’t working anyways
Choosing to binge watch TV instead of getting even partial meal prep done
These actions end up all being the result of a single THOUGHT..
So how do we fix this?
Re-write your thoughts!✔️
Whenever you find yourself looking in the mirror picking yourself apart, flip the script
Speak the exact opposite of what you’re feeling, even if you don’t truly believe it yet
Write down three things you love about yourself
Things your grateful that your body gives you the simple ability to DO
Start giving yourself credit for the efforts you’re putting in daily!
