This is roughly a 6 month difference in my body. On the left I weighed in at 160 lbs. On the right is my current weight of 138.4lbs. 😲
Now, understand that I had already lost a lot of weight by April 2017. I originally started at 186lbs., in the beginning of 2016. Halfway through my weightloss I was really sticking to cardio. I didn't know much about weightlifting and free weights and muscle gain. I would eat less that 1,200 cal a day and sometimes I'd even forget to eat breakfast. Now, I eat about 5 meals daily, drink gallons of water, focus in targeting different areas of my body each day sometimes twice a day.
I can't stress it enough how important it is to document your journey. I can seriously notice the difference. I'm energetic and I feel strong unlike before when I dreaded hitting the gym. I mean I would do it but it was never an addiction.
Now, all I can do is think about my nutrition and health. If you get bored, change up your routine. If you feel like eating a treat or going on a weekend getaway, work hard for it. Can you imagine a life without tacos, cake and pizza?! I sure can't!
It's called balance and consistency. 🤜🤛
